I am delighted to welcome you to Old Buckenham High School, and to invite you and your child to join us for our Open Evening on the 18th September.
The school is situated in the picturesque village of Old Buckenham and is within easy reach of Attleborough, Diss and surrounding towns and villages. Two courtyards form the heart of the school with views across a large playing field to the village church. A traditional hall and stage, a library, up to date computer facilities and design technology rooms enable the school to deliver a progressive curriculum in a very pleasing setting.
We are a strong community school in which mutual respect, tolerance and cooperation is at the heart of our values. The relationship between staff and students is a key strength and we will support, nurture and encourage our students throughout their learning journey with us.
The school is a part of Sapientia Education Trust which brings enormous benefits with it both in terms of investment into the school, and partnership working with local schools in the Trust which include Old Buckenham Primary School and Wymondham College.

Choosing the right High School is a difficult decision and one that I am sure you have already given much thought to. Our Open Evening is an opportunity to visit our school, meet with staff and importantly meet with some of our pupils. During the evening there will be a short presentation at 6.30pm, where I will explain more about our school. In addition, there will be lesson demonstrations and activities for you to take part in. If you would like to see the school during a normal school day, please contact us via our main reception. We will happily organise a tour during Open Week which runs from 16th – 20th September.
